Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care provides a wide range of health and social services. Adults over 18 and the elderly who have health problems can remain independent and will improve their quality of life.
Pleasant Day serves the chronically ill, including victims of Stroke and Alzheimer’s Disease. We offer respite to families and caregivers who need time away from their burden of care.
Services at Pleasant Day include:
- Counseling by social workers.
- Nursing services by RNs supervising medications often preventing health crises. Nursing helps with retraining in activities of daily living such as dressing and bathing.
- Recreation and activities including crafts, education, and day trips.
- Transportation door-to-door is provided.
- Nutrition services include two hot meals and a nourishing snack daily. Special diets are available.
