Our facilities will be open to the public from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to view more than 15 uniquely decorated trees and over 60 hand-crafted designer wreaths. A silent auction is open during this time for bidding on the wreaths, culminating in a Holiday Benefit Gala and Chamber Business After Hours on the evening of December 3. The Gala begins at 5:30 pm with free admission to all. The night’s events include a 50/50 raffle, a live auction with Buddy Foxwell, and the conclusion of the silent auction for the wreaths. Live entertainment will be playing throughout the center with local restaurateurs and caterers providing a taste of Dorchester. Free shuttle services will be available from the parking lot of Cambridge South Dorchester High School. We encourage everyone to come and celebrate this community event and wonderful time of year. For more information and pictures of the items for auction, please visit our Facebook page. All proceeds benefit the participants of Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care.
We just want to, once again, thank Mr. Ron Boltz and his dedicated team at Alarm Engineering. Through their “Helping Delmarva” initiative, they recently donated A COMPLETE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, including the installation
and training. This is something we’ve wanted to add to our safety arsenal for many years but just couldn’t afford. Ron and Dave Davis took time to visit Pleasant Day to see our needs “first hand”. Alarm Engineering installed and has
maintained and monitored our alarm needs since we opened the facility on Cambridge Beltway back in 1998. They are top-notch professionals who stay on top of their game with the latest technologies and unsurpassed customer service.
Without any hesitation we highly recommend them for your alarm, security, surveillance and safety needs. Call Ray, the Facilities-Safety Manager, anytime at 410.228.0190 for more info.

Almost every purchase you make at the amazon.com website will benefit the Dorchester County Commission on the Aging, Inc., d.b.a. Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care Center. Amazon will contribute .05% of your purchases to us! While it may not seem like much. we’ll receive 1/2 cent for every dollar you spend. Personally, during the course of a year I spend about $650.00, so that’s $3.25 they’ll donate. If just 10 people do the same, that’s $32.50 and if 100 people do the same, that’s $325.00 and if 1,000 people do it, that’s $3,250.00 ….got the idea?
